Who We Are

What We Do For Our Clients

GFI Capital Partners are an ever-growing group of leading International capital markets, funds, and specialist capital markets (securitization and structured finance) lawyers, bankers, and other specialist advisors that share a common vision that our clients want something different.  All of our lawyers and advisors have been at some of the leading International law firms, investment banks, commercial banks, and corporates in London, New York, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Toronto, and Calgary with our lawyers practicing English and New York law.

Whilst all of our projects are staffed in accordance with our client needs and thus may be staffed by a combination of senior, mid-level, and junior lawyers and business professionals, our senior advisors remain integrated into every aspect of the project.  These pre-eminent senior advisors have a number of things in common:

They have spent most of their careers in capital markets, funds, and specialist capital markets at:

  • some of the largest International and Wall Street, Magic Circle, and Bay Street law firms (many of which have headed up the capital markets departments); or
  • notable finance companies including some of the largest International and Wall Street investment banks, commercial banks, boutique private equity houses, and hedge funds; or
  • multi-national public companies; and
  • have been recognized as leaders in their respective fields.
